This privacy policy (the “Policy”) explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. By using our App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.
Please note that this Policy applies only to information we collect through the App and not to any information collected offline or via third-party sites that may be linked to or accessible from the App.
We do not create user accounts nor do we ask for any identifying information such as email address, name, or phone number.
We use analytics providers Amplitude and TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous data about how users interact with our App. This includes details about how often you use our App, what actions you take within the App, and performance data. This information is collected in a way that does not link back to your identity.
The App processes data on your device by default, but it may transmit text message data (including the sender's number and the message body) to our servers in the USA. Please note that this message data may contain personal identifiable information (PII). However, when message data is uploaded, we do not link it to the specific App, device, or user. We may utilize third parties to process this data for classification purposes.
We may store your message data and its classification anonymously for the purpose of improving our classification in the future. We currently use ChatGPT by OpenAI, LLC for some classification. We will only provide the sender's number and the message body for these processes.
Our servers and databases, currently hosted with Fly.io, store the message data securely. We encrypt message data when it is stored in the database.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identifiable information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.
The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards, including the use of appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards, to protect the personal information submitted to us.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
